Race Relations Across the Globe: Exploring How Different Countries Think of Race
Tuesday, June 30, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT
Category: Professional Development

We’re discussing global race relations, and how racism affects societies and cultures across the globe.  On the panel is a diverse group of Milwaukeeans who have lived in various places around the world.  They will share their perspectives and lessons learned about the concept of race and how different countries value diversity.  We will also discuss the origins of “race” and how the concept has fueled racism throughout history.

Join this conversation if you're interested in learning about how race is viewed outside of the US. Perhaps, there are things we can learn from our world and bridge the divides we're find in the US.
