Influencing Groups to Execute Your Vision
Instructor: Shelley Jurewicz, Executive Director, FAB Wisconsin

Whether you’re leading a team at work, heading up a social enterprise, running a non-profit committee, or managing a group of community volunteers, you have the important responsibility of driving a group of people toward one, unified goal.  How do you get a bunch of smart, opinionated people to understand your vision and support what you’re trying to do?

This workshop is all about bringing people along with you on the journey to building something – a skill you need if you want to scale your impact and realize greater success. Shelley Jurewicz, founding executive director of FUEL Milwaukee and current executive director of FAB Wisconsin, will share her years of expertise on how to transforms volunteers into a tribe of ambassadors.

This workshop will cover:

  • Owning your ideas and building consensus in a room full of opinions
  • Communicating your vision so others will see it and support it
  • The importance of getting buy-in from team members/volunteers
  • Fostering a sense of ownership among your team and turning them into evangelists/ambassadors of your vision
  • The importance of building teams and developing partnerships

After this workshop, you will better understand that great leaders never do everything alone.  You need a team and this session will help you learn how to build one.
