Business and educational leaders have leaned on him as a resource as they’ve made critical decisions on how to keep employees and students safe. John R Raymond, Sr. is the doctor that everyone trusts and we’re learning more about him and his passion for keeping all of us safe.

Join us for a Mentorship Morning with Dr. Raymond and gain insights from his decades long career in the field of medicine.

Dr. John Raymond has been the President and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2010.  He did his undergraduate medical education at the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University and trained in internal medicine and nephrology at Duke University Medical Center. In addition to being a practicing nephrologist with active roles in clinical care, teaching and faculty mentorship, he has been a peer-designated Best Doctor® for many years, and an NIH-funded scientist studying the basic mechanisms of kidney cell function.

Dr. Raymond has been the scientific leader educating and informing Wisconsin’s business leaders and communities through this pandemic delivering a consistent, calm and data-driven message to keep people armed with facts and information necessary to keep them as healthy as possible. He serves on multiple Boards in the community and was last year’s co-chair of the 2020 United Way Campaign for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County.  In his spare time, he spends time with his wife, Maggie, and their three dogs.
