LOST WHALE

This month’s Purely Social is at Lost Whale, a Bay View establishment recently named a runner-up on Shepard Express' Bars to Be Seen In list.
The recently opened bar is named after a joke/urban legend about a wayward whale that someone claimed to have seen in Lake Michigan.

While the bar’s name is a joke, their craft cocktail menu is serious business.  The drink menu reads like a hip-hop playlist and features a wide variety of beers and Wisconsin-classic cocktails.  There’s even a cocktail served in a Jolly Good soda can.

One of the coolest things about this bar is it’s sustainable and eco-friendly business philosophy.  Think paper straws, no-waste beverage containers, and limited-edition cocktails made from surplus supplies and ingredients.  Plus, the bar’s eclectic décor was sourced almost entirely from Milwaukee Restore – a household thrift store chain benefiting Milwaukee’s Habitat for

Humanity.

Attend this Social and you can expect:

  • Networking in a cozy, laid-back social setting
  • Drink specials and quirky bar-snacks
  • Elbow rubbing with a diverse group of young professionals
  • Icebreakers for the socialites and the shy

Join us for this Purely Social and get first-hand experience with the “urban legend,” the sustainable craft cocktail, and the Bay View bar everyone wants to be seen in.

REGISTRATION

Purely Socials are free with pre-registration.  Space is limited for this social, as The Lost Whale reaches capacity at 70 people.
