Appropriate Assertive Communication Techniques
Instructor: Jennifer Buchholz, Founder of Excel and Flourish

If you've ever left a conflict situation wishing that you'd been more assertive or had communicated better, then this just what you need. You will learn the key to retaining composure without compromising yourself as well as advocating for yourself appropriately. Assertiveness is an essential skill in communication and in managing conflict. It does not have to be something we shrink away from, and when we handle it well, can create a strong reputation as a leader.

You will learn to:

  • Define assertive communication and its value in the workplace.
  • Adapt behaviors that build credibility.
  • Leverage techniques for dealing with anxiety and avoidance.
  • Use language for communicating directly while at the same time remaining professional.
  • Understand the process of breaking and making non-assertive communication habits.

Jennifer's interactive and engaging teaching style will draw you in and give you the tools to communicate more effectively right away. Sign up today.
