Best Practices for Building a Meaningful Network
Instructor: Denise Thomas, The Effective Communication Coach

You’ve exchanged business cards with dozens of people.  You heard more elevator speeches than you can remember.  And you’ve accepted an untold number of LinkedIn requests – but you still aren’t feeling connected to most of the people you’ve “networked” with over the years.

“Best Practices for Building a Meaningful Network” will teach you how to grow genuine, lasting relationships that enhance your career and overall quality of life.  Whether you’re trying to land that perfect job, get a new business off the ground, or make more connections in Milwaukee, you’ll learn some strategies that’ll reshape the way you approach meeting new people.

You will learn:

  • How networking has evolved over the years
  • How to develop and re-fresh your own networking style
  • To identify the value that can be exchanged between you and a new connection
  • Skills to listen and communicate in a memorable, effective way
  • To make networking more purposeful and fun
