FUEL Milwaukee
The Short Story

FUEL Milwaukee is the region’s new talent network. It’s what’s next for Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM) and for anyone making a living in the Milwaukee region and 21 years or older.

FUEL officially launched February 1, 2007 when YPM renamed and rebranded itself to raise the influence of its 4,500 members and its role in the region.

Our mission is to make the Milwaukee region a destination to world-class talent, in all its diversity.

And there are a few things on our minds, as individuals we want to: 1) work for the best employers; 2) improve our impression of the Milwaukee region; and 3) be involved in shaping what the region becomes.

What's in it for you?

You can join over 5,500 members working in the Milwaukee region who fuel their networks and FUEL Milwaukee. Get involved to diversify and expand your network, follow your passion and influence what the region is becoming. Click here to download our Information Flyer.

Ultimately what you get out of your membership is what you put into it. Here’s how to benefit most...

Attend FUEL events. There are three events each month. You decide which interests you. One event is purely social. Another features something or someone of high regional interest or intrigue. And each month we offer an orientation to help maximize your membership.

Create your FUEL Online profile. You create your personal member profile to network with other members based on your shared community interests. (Scheduled to go-live yet this year.)

Read the FUEL Connector. Read your copy of the Connector, our weekly e-newsletter, designed to keep you connected to FUEL activities, resources, news, and the regional talent scene.

Gain recognition. The more active you are as a member, the more opportunities are afforded to you as recognition of your efforts.

There’s a nominal membership fee of $50.00 annually. Or membership costs may already be covered due to your employer's membership.
