Event Planning

Have an event idea? Send it in after reviewing the selection criteria below. If your idea is selected expect a call from the FUEL staff.

Event Criteria

FUEL "feature" events must generate enough appeal to attract 200+ members on a week night (5:00-8:00 pm). It should give us access to something and/or someone of regional interest or intrigue - even better if we can directly tie it to our strategic efforts and Milwaukee’s image.

NOTE: We do not feature traditional professional development programming or training seminars.

FUEL "purely social" events are held at venues, typically highlighting new or unique bars, nightclubs, or restaurants. The locale must accommodate 300-400 members turning out over a 3-hour period (6:00-9:00 pm). Generally the establishment offers complimentary, light appetizers.

FUEL EventsFUEL Events

In addition to monthly new member orientation, FUEL Milwaukee holds two events per month which give our individual members access to individuals or developments unique to the region, or that they wouldn’t have access to on their own.

  1. "Purely social" events get you around town to experience the local after-hours scene. Our social events are free and attract 300-400 members.

  2. "Feature" events give you access to something and/or someone of high regional interest or intrigue. These events typically have a $10 fee to cover the cost of appetizers, and attract a minimum of 200 members.

  3. New member orientation events are designed to maximize your membership. These are limited to 40-50 new or prospective members. There is no fee.
